First off, let's get 2 things straight. The previous installment was very long ago, and I can't remember much except that it was epic. Secondly, it was epic.
So, the expectation for this was high, like way up in the sky high. And needless to say, these kind of expectations aren't good. Anyhow, that's that and the movie was watched yesterday as part of a meet-up with high school mates plan.
I wouldn't say it's bad. But it just ain't as epic as Joker. I mean come on, seriously. The Dark Knight is way too epic and it totally overshadows this one. There ain't much Batman action in this one. The cape only gets worn like what, 3 times? And Christian Bale is getting too old for this. The fight scenes are too "kaku" for me. It's like some oversized body builder trying to be agile, him and the Bane, if you get what I mean. Speaking of Bane, he just lacks character, again as compared to the Joker.
The storyline is also a bit of a let down compared to the previous one, where Joker has lots of twists up his sleeves. This one's a bit straightforward and we could keep pointing out some silliness of certain scenes. Like how the bad guys didn't flood the reactor in the very beginning, thus eliminating any chances to stablilising the bomb. Not to mention also the autopilot thing, which suggests that a happy ending is always a must. Bla bla bla.
Nevertheless, the movie is still watchable, but would appear simply as another terrorist trying to explode a bomb in the city. My ratings? 6/10

Even though a low rating, I still want to see it on the big screen.
Ah finally! Exactly my thoughts. Everybody keeps telling me that it was awesome etc etc.. but really, it was just okay to me. Not horrible or boring, but not THAT great either. I was looking forward to see, you know, more of Batman in a Batman movie.. but half of the time, he was nowhere to be seen. And it was tad too long that it became somewhat draggy towards the end. All that said, Anne Hathaway is pretty cool in the movie! :D
@The Yum List Of course, please watch it yourself and let me know what you think as everyone seems to have their own opinions =)
@eevy IKR! it's just an average movie, and totally overrated. But of course, no one would be satisfied without first watching for themselves =)
Roughly motivational place of duty you give rise to at this juncture. Seems to facilitate lots of relations enjoyed and benefited from it. Cheers and credit.
Spot on with this write-up, I really think this website wants far more consideration. I'll probably be again to learn way more, thanks for that info.
